Anywhere from $2.99 to $499 a month, depending on what you need. Meta launched Meta One on September 15, 2026, bundling Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI into a single subscription ladder, its second AI monetization push in a single week.
Meta just placed its second AI monetization bet in one week. Seven days after launching a standalone AI agent with its own subscription, the company rolled out Meta One, a subscription that spans its entire app family.
Meta One launched with more than 50 features across four products. The ladder breaks into three groups:
Single-app plans: Instagram Plus ($3.99/mo), Facebook Plus ($3.99/mo), WhatsApp Plus ($2.99/mo), custom fonts, super reactions, pinned chats
AI bundles: Core ($7.99/mo) and Premium ($19.99/mo), add higher usage limits on compute-intensive AI tools like image and video generation through Meta's Muse models, plus Instagram's Restyle editor
Business and creator tiers: Essential ($14.99/mo) through Max ($499/mo), add Meta Business Agent access, analytics, and scheduled posting
Everyday Meta AI use and core app functions stay free. The paid tiers exist specifically to unlock heavier AI usage, not to gate the apps themselves.

Book a Free ConsultationThis is not the same product as Muse, the standalone personal AI agent Meta launched on September 8 with its own $20 and $100 monthly tiers. Muse is a separate app that acts on a user's behalf, booking, paying, scheduling. Meta One instead adds AI muscle to the apps people already use daily. Together, the two launches show Meta testing two different monetization models for AI in one seven-day span.
Meta reported 15 million subscriptions and trials during the phased rollout. More tellingly, more than half of early bundle subscribers used both the AI and expression features, evidence that people are paying for the AI specifically, not just along for the ride. That builds on real momentum: Instagram's daily revenue from its earlier Plus plans hit $1.2 million the week of September 9, up 475% week over week, per Appfigures data.
Business owners on Meta's platforms now have a real cost-benefit decision to make. A few things worth checking before upgrading:
Whether Meta Business Agent's 24/7 customer response feature reduces your team's workload, or just shifts where the work happens
How your team's current usage compares to each tier's AI limits, before paying for headroom you won't use
Our generative AI services team can help you evaluate whether Meta One's business tiers are worth adopting for your own content and customer-response workflows.
